Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Undertake biotechnology-related research and development activities
2. Support bioprocess laboratory operation, i.e. strain improvement, mutagenesis experiments, bioreactor operation, and small-scale experiments to support process implementation
4. Support on scaling up upstream and downstream operations of biotechnology processes
5. Conduct trials with team members to validate lab processes, documentation, and data analysis, and generate data for scale-up.
6. Work closely with the team and third-party R&D partners & collaborators
7. Support conceptualization and execution of lab experiments with the team
8. Write up scientific and technical reports and records
9. Draft and follow protocols and batch records and provide technical input
10. Follow health and safety procedures and protocols as required
11. Demonstrate initiative and proactive approach
