We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our Child Development Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with various developmental and behavioral challenges. Your expertise and therapeutic interventions will contribute to the overall well-being and progress of the children in our care.
Responsibilities:
*Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.*Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans for children, incorporating evidence-based approaches.
*Provide therapy and intervention services to children and their families, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities.
*Monitor and track the progress of children through ongoing assessment and evaluation.
*Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers, providing strategies for managing and promoting positive child development.
*Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
*Stay updated on current research and best practices in child psychology, applying new knowledge to enhance treatment approaches.
*Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
*Degree in MSc psychology or Diploma in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
*Specialization or experience in child psychology, child development, or pediatric psychology.
*Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and utilizing standardized assessment tools.
*Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family systems approaches.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
*Compassion, empathy, and patience to work effectively with children facing developmental challenges.
*Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
