Responsibilities:

Providing emotional support and mentorship to students during their educational journey.

Facilitating effective communication between students, parents, and educational institutions.

Keeping track of student progress and intervening when necessary to ensure academic success.

Staying informed about changes in education policies, procedures, and qualifications.

Advocating for students' needs and rights within educational settings.

Skills:

Strong listening and communication skills to understand and address student concerns effectively.

Engaging in continuous learning to keep up-to-date with educational developments and counselling techniques.

Cultivating a network of contacts within educational and professional circles for resources and referrals.

Implementing a student-centred approach, focusing on each student's individual needs and goals.

Utilising technology effectively for student assessments, record-keeping, and communication.
