You will be involved in the development of Lithium ion conducting Oxide ceramic solid electrolytes for All-Solid State Batteries. Your work involves R&D of Ceramic oxide solid electrolytes with different compositions and its optimization via high temperature treatment, measurement of Ionic conductivity by means DC and AC impedance techniques.
You are expected to have a basic knowledge two probe and four probe methods, Arrhenius Plotting (Conductivity vs Inverse of Temperature),Deducing Activation Energy, finding the Transference number etc.
You will be required to handle High temperature muffle furnace, Spin coater, Argon/nitrogen filled Glove box, handling of Lithium metal anode and assemble pouch cells etc. The job requires you to sign a confidential agreement with the company (Non-disclosure agreement) and you will need to maintain the confidentiality of the work that you are doing and data/interpretation and its findings.
This job provides you a high level training on SOlLID STATE BATTERY RESEARCH NUANCES and therefore, a minimum of 18 months commitment is mandatory.
