Job Description

Client Interaction:
- Analyze client specifications and translate them into actionable engineering requirements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, identify cost-effective solutions, and ensure project alignment.
- Assist with the selection of appropriate materials and sub-components based on client requirements, functionality, and cost.
Machine Assembly & Manufacturing:
- Develop detailed assembly plans and procedures for machine construction.
- Select and source necessary sub-components and materials, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
- Oversee the assembly process, ensuring all components are installed correctly and function according to the plan.
- Analyze and troubleshoot any assembly issues, implementing solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient and timely machine assembly.
Quotation Management:
- Analyze client requests and specifications to determine material and labor costs for machine assembly.
- Work with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes for necessary sub-components and materials.
- Develop and present comprehensive quotations to clients, outlining project scope, timelines, costs, and deliverables.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Secure client approval on final quotations before project commencement.
Technical Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machine components and technology.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to machine assembly, including drawings, bills of materials, and quality control procedures.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the assembly process to guarantee a high-quality finished product.
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure machine functionality meets all client specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality control activities.
