Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create visually compelling and engaging game levels, considering player experience, pacing, and immersion
2. Develop and implement level layouts, environmental storytelling, and interactive elements
3. Place assets, setting up terrain, lighting, and creating immersive game worlds
4. Craft gameplay mechanics, puzzles, challenges, and level layouts to enhance player experience
5. Design menus, HUD elements, and interactive interfaces to improve user experience
6. Ensure that the game's flow, controls, and interfaces are intuitive and engaging for players
7. Create design documentation, guidelines, and style guides for consistency in art assets
8. Communicate design concepts and ideas to team members, and potentially to stakeholder
9. Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure alignment between visual design and gameplay mechanics
10. Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new game features and environments.
11. Conduct playtesting sessions to identify and address issues, ensuring a polished and enjoyable player experience
12. Iterate on level designs based on feedback and playtest results
