NET Architect

Introduction

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering changes by following Agile practices into the Global Pricing Tool application, ensuring Barclays standards are adhered to and exceeded and that all project requirements are met. In addition, they will be responsible for supporting and managing design team members to ensure the continual growth of the team and identification and implementation of design patterns and innovations.
Design, develop, implement and maintain Microsoft technical stack based enterprise application that has several upstream and downstream interfaces.
To work with the business and operations to understand and design the architecture as per requirements
To work with technology partners to ensure technology have a full understanding of the business requirements

What will you be doing?

Come up with Architecture/Design changes for new requirements and enhancements
Work closely with the peers within / outside team
Enhance and improve application development capability
Highlight risk and issues via effective control and Standard Barclays processes.
Actively participate in internal initiatives outside project work (for example, adoption of new tools and internal process improvements)

What Were Looking For

He / She should be Graduate / Post graduate
Proven expertise in ASP.NET MVC, WCF Services, Rest API, ASP.NET Core
Experience in Micro Services based architecture and REST standards
Hands on experience in Database technologies e.g. SQL server 2017
Strong experience in writing SQL scripts, Stored Procedures
Well versed with Agile Process
Good understanding of Barclays cloud architecture and relevant tools
Good understanding of Barclays enterprise architecture and design patterns
Good knowledge of workflow management tool and integration with .Net Application
Experience in architecting and delivering E2E design, including integration projects/programmes across disparate technologies, application/infrastructure integration
Ability to present, in a clear and succinct manner, complex information to non-Technology colleagues
Should have experience of Pricing for Corporate banking products
Experience in DevOps implementation and ability to continually identify automation and integration opportunities to continuous improvement in application development processes.
