The Developer will be responsible for the maintenance and support of an existing FoxPro business application including on-going enhancements and new functionality. The developer will create technical documentation for all existing and newly developed programs. This person may also be responsible for assisting in the transition to and/or creation of a new system to replace the existing FoxPro application.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the current FoxPro development team to understand the existing application and assume responsibility for ongoing support and maintenance.

• Create and deliver technical and user documentation to support the current FoxPro application, modifications, or enhancements.

• Should be strong in Web Technologies ASP.Net (WebForms or MVC, WPF, Winforms, MVVM),JavaScript, HTML

• Develop test plans, prepare test data and document results for unit, integration and user acceptance testing.

• Analyze production support issues to determine root cause and take the necessary course of action for resolution.

• Ensure design consistency with development standards and guidelines.

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field with 3 years of experience

• Previous experience with Visual FoxPro 9 front end and database applications

• Previous SQL experience strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, VB.Net, C#.Net

• Should be strong in Web Technologies ASP.Net (WebForms or MVC, WPF, Winforms, MVVM),JavaScript, HTML

• Ability to develop Web services and WCF to expose and consume

• Should be able to use database functions using SQL Server.
