· Discussing career and educational goals with interested participants.
· Aiding in the course selection process to ensure progress towards participants goals.
· Displaying an interest in participants development.
· Maintaining updated reports on participants.
· Demonstrate a strong understanding of courses and programmes.
· Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students.
· Collaborate with trainers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of programmes.
Academic Advisor Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree may be preferred.
· Min two years’ experience desirable.
· Should be comfortable making calls to prospective participants.
· Comfortable in talking and handling interested participants on phone call.
· Experience in professional counseling, development, education, or related field will be preferred.
· Strong communication (fluency in spoken and written English is a must) and interpersonal skills specifically interacting with senior corporate executives
· Basic knowledge of computers, LMS and online marketing
· Ability to maintain accurate and updated records concerning to participants.
· A desire to help participants in their academic journey, from handling leads and enrollment.
· Ability to operate within a wide range of participant personalities and backgrounds.
· Interview clients to obtain information about employment history, educational background, and career goals, and to identify barriers to career growth.
