We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the academic landscape. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing academic guidance and support to students in order to help them achieve their academic goals. 

Responsibilities:

·         Conduct individual counseling sessions with students to assess their academic needs and goals

·         Develop personalized academic plans for students based on their interests and abilities

·         Assist students with course selection, registration, and scheduling

·         Monitor student progress and provide support and guidance as needed

·         Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and other counselors to provide a comprehensive academic support system for students

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records

·         Stay current with trends and developments in the academic field

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field

·         At least 2 years of experience in academic counseling or a related field

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

·         Familiarity with academic programs and requirements

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
