Title: Accountant
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities:-
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial analysis.Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and recommendations to management.-Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial support and guidance on business decisions.Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.
Qualifications:- - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem - solving skills.-
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast- paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
