Progressive UK accounting outsourcing company seeking to establish an offshore team in Chennai. Currently have several accountancy practices owned and operated in the UK. 

Role – Accountant 

We are seeking a part qualified accountant to be based on Chennai, with the ideal candidate having at least 2-3 years’ experience in accounting under UK tax and accounting standards. The successful candidate must have: 

• Previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice and the ability to undertake both simple and more complex bookkeeping tasks. 

• Experience of Quickbooks online, Sage, Xero and other accounting software. 

• The ability to understand documents and data and summarise these into workpapers. 

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. 

• Organised and methodical 

• Client focused 

• Ability to work under own initiative
