Job description:

·          Managing day-to-day transactions

·          Maintain daily transactions on real-time both in accounting Software and Google Documents.

·          Preparing financial documents such as invoices and Bills

·          Completing purchase orders

·          Process vendor payments and cheque requests

·          Tracking of outstanding Customer LPO’s and Vendor PO’s.

·          Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team

·          Completing bank reconciliations

·          Managing company ledgers

·          Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies

·          Verifying bank deposits and payments regularly

·          Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set limit / budgeted.

·          Maintain professional banking relationships

·          Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements

·          Posting daily receipts.

·          Reporting on debtors and creditors

·          Handling accruals and prepayments

·          Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts

·          Reviewing computer reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing errors back to their source

·          Resolving errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting methods

·          Perform basic office management duties as requested

Education, Experience, and Other Skills Requirements:

·          Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

·          MBA Finance preferred

·          Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance

·          Expertise in Microsoft Office

·          Expertise in QuickBooks (Online Versions) & Tally ERP.
