Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary: The accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They will contribute to financial decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on their analysis.

Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and databases.

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.

Budget Analysis: Analyze budgets and financial forecasts to provide insights into the financial health of the organization and identify areas for improvement.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.

Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing relevant financial documentation and explanations as needed.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.

Financial Planning: Assist in developing financial plans and strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.

Risk Management: Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them, such as implementing internal controls or insurance policies.

Communication: Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is preferred.

Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis techniques.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment: May interact with various departments within the organization and may need to collaborate with external stakeholders, such as auditors or tax authorities.

Salary: 15k to 20k
