We are looking for Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. You will work closely with Fortanix's Finance Controller as well as other Finance team members to manage day to day accounting operations & other projects related to finance organization.

Requirements

• Performing day to day accounting of US & Group entity – AP, AR, Revenue recognition & Opex
• Ownership of Accounts Payable of Group entities – Onboarding of vendor, Accounting of invoices as well as payment, addressing vendor queries
• Preparing month end reconciliations & schedule pertaining to Bank, Prepaid, Fixed Assets and other Balance Sheet accounts
• Preparation of month end expenses allocation schedule – Inter-company & Inter-department
• Monthly close of books of accounts and preparation of Journal entries
• Year end Audit Support
• Other Ad hoc task as assigned from time to time including ERP implementation, providing input for due diligence etc.
  

Qualification & Experience –

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in controllership, book closure
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP, I GAAP or IFRS
• Proficient in MS excel
• ERP experience – QuickBooks, NetSuite or Sage Intacct preferred
• Able to work independently and prompt on work responsibilities
• Day shift with month end working for 4-5 days to have some overlap with US timings
• Inclination towards ERP & other tools optimization and automation
