Job Description: Accounts Assistant/Commerce Assistant (B.Com Fresher)

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Accounts Assistant/Commerce Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable, preparing financial statements, and providing general administrative support to the accounting team.

 Responsibilities: 

• Maintain accurate accounting records and books of accounts 

• Prepare financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets 

• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card statements • Analyze and report on financial performance 

• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable 

• Prepare and file tax returns 

• Manage and update general ledgers 

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting 

• Perform other accounting related tasks as needed

Requirements: 

• B.Com degree or equivalent 

• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks 

• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Word 

• High level of accuracy and attention
