Role Summary :

Good years of experience as acoustics in building acoustics. We can offer you a unique opportunity to lead and develop our building acoustic work together with our national and international colleagues for knowledge exchange and collaboration on assignments.

You who have some or many years of experience as acousticians in ambient noise and want to join and develop the group within social and industrial noise. Here, too, there is a unique opportunity for the development of both assignments and collaboration and working methods with colleagues nationally and internationally.

You who have some years of experience as acoustics or have recently graduated with courses in acoustics and are passionate about creating better sound environments in our society.

All employees work in a group, which increases the opportunities to expand their knowledge in all areas of acoustics. We work very closely with other acoustics in the country. Our assignments are often together with other colleagues within WSP in areas such as building design, geotechnics, construction management, civil engineering, community planning.

WSP Acoustics is a national section of WSP Sweden with about 80 employees offering qualified consulting services in sound and vibration. We have broad experience and extensive expertise in acoustics nationally and we are one of the world's largest players in the field with around 250 acoustics globally.

Our assignments cover all types of industrial, real estate, residential, infrastructure and product development projects and they span the entire chain from early feasibility studies, investigations to planning and monitoring with measurement, modeling, calculation and analysis. We also work with risk analyzes and air quality.

Responsibility

At WSP Acoustics you get to work with varied and evolving tasks within acoustics. Our assignments include investigations and calculations in building and room acoustics. For the right person, there are opportunities to influence both you and the acoustics group in Stockholm's development.

Qualifications

We are looking for both of you who have a few or many years of experience in the industry, preferably 5 years of experience working as a consultant with acoustic investigations. You should have a civil engineering degree with sound and vibration orientation or equivalent. Technical physics are preferred. You are a caring and reliable person and you take responsibility. You like acoustics and are interested in being part of a strong team. Personal traits that are valued are flexibility, commitment and business acumen. Commitment, problem-solving ability and creativity are key words, and our work consists of bothof measurements out in the field and of planning and calculations in the office. Of course, you also have good IT skills.

· Skill in point sources and area sources

· Bastian, room acoustics simulation

· CATT, Raytracing program

· MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint, etc

Beneficial Experience:

· GIS, Global Informational services

· SQL dababase handling

· AERMOD, air quality simulation

· Python, programming language

Experience:

· 4+ years of work with noise mapping and calculation

Languages:

· English, fluent

· Swedish/Scandinavian, beneficial
