Opportunity :- Acuity Knowledge partners is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its credit research vertical.- The role would involve managing end to end support to the client's investment research processes in Investment grade, high yield and distressed space. The candidate will be responsible to facilitate the evaluation of credit investment ideas and publication of detailed reports on the companies.

Key responsibilities include -

Building credit models and projecting the company's performance incorporating credit metrics/ratio analysis-

Detailed capital structure analysis

Identifying different levels of debt tranches, corporate and funding structure, mapping guarantees and collateral-

Calculation of adjusted debt and analysis of off balance sheet debt like items, waterfall structure analysis and recovery analysis-

Preparing detailed reports/presentations on companies describing business model, strategy, industry scenario, capital structure, covenants and key risks associated with the investments-

Writing credit notes based on the ratings report, company's results and related commentary-

Evaluating bond indentures or loan agreements to assess the covenant protection, debtholder's mutual rights and priorities, and any specific clauses/provisions which could impact the risk/return profile of the trade or investment
Required Background :-

MBA from a top tier school / Chartered Accountant-

Around 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge of full breadth of public data, research, and analytic resources-

Experience in client relationship building and management

Excellent oral and written communication skills-

Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines-

Team players who must show the willingness to work with cross functional teams across time zones
