Additional District and Sessions Judge  job opportunities in High Court of Uttarakhand

No. of Posts :  8 (General-01, SC-03, SC(Women)-01, EWS-02, EWS(Women)-01)

Eligibility :  The reservation for Scheduled Caste and Economically Weaker Section category (EWS) and women will be admissible only to those candidates who are permanent residents of the State of Uttarakhand. Applicants should claim reservation in EWS category only after ascertaining that they fall in the EWS category in accordance with Notification of Government of Uttarakhand No.29/XXXVI(3)/2019/ 03(1)/ 2019, Dated 05.02.2019 Applicants claiming reservation in EWS category are not eligible for any relaxation in upper age limit. Once any applicant has claimed for EWS category in his application form, thereafter, at any stage of selection process, the request for change of category will not be accepted. For claiming reservation in any category, it is necessary for an applicant to furnish the certificate, confirming his category, issued by Government of Uttarakhand in accordance with relevant Government Order through a competent authority/level.

Pay Scale : Rs. 51,550-1,230-58,930-1,380-63,070, in accordance with the provisions of the Uttarakhand Higher Judicial Service Rules-2004 (as amended in 2016).

Age Limit :  Applicants must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 45 years on the 1st day of January 2019. In other words, applicants should have been born on or after 02.01.1974 and not later than 01.01.1984. Relaxation in age to the candidates will be admissible as per rules of the State of Uttarakhand.

Fee :   Examination Fees of Rs.750/- for General category candidates and Rs.500/- for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes category candidates (belonging to the State of Uttarakhand only) shall have to be paid by the candidates, which shall be payable in favour of ‘Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital’ by way of account payee Demand Draft of any Bank payable at Nainital. The applicants belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category may apply in general category posts as there is no reserved post for scheduled tribe and OBC category. However, they may apply by paying the fee of Rs.500/- only. The applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered. Fee once paid shall not be refunded.
