Applications are invited from Indian Nationals eligible for engagement to the following temporary consultant positions on contract basis at Composite Regional Centres for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC),Shillong and Andaman & Nicobar Islands established to serve as resource centre in disability rehabilitation for all categories.

Administrative Officer (Consultant)/01

Pay Scale: Rs.Rs.40,000/ -

Essential: i. Post Graduate Degree /MBA from recognized University. ii. Minimum 5 years experience in establishment/admin. matters in any Govt. Organisation/ Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertaking/Semi Government / Quasi Government.

Accountant (Consultant)/ 01

Pay Scale:Rs.35,000/-

Essential: i. Commerce graduate from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer and Tally. ii. Minimum 2 years experience in handling accounts/cash in Govt. or Semi Govt. Establishments / Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertaking/Semi Government / Quasi Government. Desirable: i. M.Com / MBA (Fin.)

Workshop Supervisor-cumStore Keeper (Consultant)/ 01

Pay Scale:Rs.25,000

Essential: i. 10+2 or equivalent qualification. ii. Diploma / Certificate in Prosthetics & Orthotics. iii. Minimum 2 years experience in the concerned area

Application fee of Rs. 500/- for each post in the mode of Demand Draft made in favour of Director, NIEPMD, payable at Chennai need to be enclosed. SC/ST/PwD are exempted from payment of application fee. vi. Separate application is to be submitted for each post. This decade led to the emergence & proposal of the PwD (1995) Act and the National Trust (1999) Act in India. After the proposal of National Trust Act (1999),focus was given to Persons with Multiple Disabilities and there arose a need to start a National Institute exclusively for Empowerment of persons with Multiple Disabilities.
