- The estate manager is in charge of the upkeep and day-to-day running of the private estate. They should oversee maintenance, supervise staff members, and manage budgets and events. They are also expected to ensure that the land is being used to its full potential – whether for farming, commercial, or private purposes.

- The estate manager may who also require to take on an active role in the family home therefore they may be required to manage coordination with tenants and oversee private service staff and maintenance within the household.

- The ideal estate manager is a jack of all trades; someone professional with a high level of integrity, personable and polite, who isn’t afraid to get his or her hands dirty. A financial mind is a big plus, as is experienced with project and budget management. An agricultural qualification, knowledge on spoken Tamil and a four-wheeler driving license with the ability to drive is desirous.

- Accommodation is provided at the location. This is a 6 day working, except in case of unanticipated exigencies. Periodic Holidays are provided.
