Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of AIX Servers
• Clustering and High availability management along with Virtualization solutions
• Perform installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning
• Review Backup reports and Initiate actions on backup failure against specific documentation. Implement changes, perform security related tasks, identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4+ Years in AIX v6.0, v7.0, v7.5 Installation, Configuration and upgradation administration on Windows and UNIX environments
• Deep Understanding of UNIX ,AIX Server Support, designing, troubleshooting and storage implementation
• Required to articulate standard methodologies for during implementation.
• Experience in risk based systems running on UNIX / AIX platforms.
• Knowledge and expertise of OS clustering, partitioning and virtualization.
• Demonstrated Experience in handling day-to-day UNIX-AIX operating system installation, migration and break-fix support.
• Knowledge of SAN S/W and storage administration and integration with operating systems.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Knowledge on AIX/MB Systems and architecture.
• Knowledge on AIX Systems and UNIX internal Integrations.
• WebSphere Administration experience, an added advantage.
