MP CONSULTING LLC jobs - Altium Schematic Layout Technician

Looking for highly motivated Altium Schematic & Layout Technician to bolster our US and India teams. MP Consulting is a Chicago-based product development firm staffed with Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware engineers working on cutting edge products in the consumer, medical, and automotive industries. We are expanding our current operations in Ahmedabad, Gujarat to continue to deliver quality solutions to our customers. We are looking to add technicians to the current team as we grow and establish a foothold in the consumer electronic space.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing schematics and layouts in Altium. They will also help design and manufacture electrical products of all shapes and sizes. They should be able to make quality assurance checks in order to keep the product standard high. 

• Have some basic knowledge of CONSUMER ELECTRONICS.
• Should have basic fundamentals for communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, LVDS, pertaining to PCB strategies
• Should have ADVANCED knowledge of Altium software.

Responsibilities

• Drawing schematics and layouts
• Work with Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineers to help design electrical products

Technical Skills and Requirements

• Must have proficient knowledge of Altium software
• Familiar with circuit design and chip set integration
• Familiar with Electrical CAD tools, Allegro, Mentor, etc
• Capable of basic lab skills - Soldering, debugging with Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc preferred
• Proficiency in PCB layouts and noise mitigation strategies
• Strong written and verbal communication
