Job Description

To proactively contribute to the overall delivery of Account Opening and Servicing activity handling requests to open accounts, personal and business record creation along with ADHOC servicing requirements, maintaining a flexible approach to responsibilities and tasks
Responsible for preparing and quality checking documents prior to creating records and opening accounts in accordance with the Bank's guidelines and in compliance with UK & global financial regulations.
Completing all of the relevant checks and screening that relate to above activity i.e. checking passport / driving license details / nationality cards, ensuring that we are working in with the bank policies and to the agreed service level agreements.
To liaise directly with internal clients to provide support and gather relevant information, maintaining a professional manner and delivering excellent client service.

What will you be doing?
Provide robust expertise across all Account Opening/Servicing process requests
Deal with clients who have been granted dispensation but stays in line with Barclays policy which would need to be approved by the legal team or FCU.
Use a high level of attention to detail to complete tasks right first time, every time.
Use the Corporate Banks policy to ensure the correct documents and data have been provided by clients.
Perform daily Audit and second day checks on the work completed within the team
Use communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders, supporting the Relationship Team in delivering excellent Client service. Use time management skills to complete business critical tasks within pressured timescales ensuring the team meets all target SLAs, and providing a quick and efficient service to Clients.
Establishes and actively manages own personal development plan and seeks to improve in areas of development through training, skills development and coaching
Take ownership and resolution of issues threatening cycle times and or Client satisfaction
Contribute to a supportive and proactive working culture by sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members

Prior experience with using the Corporate Banks computer systems (such as Customer Gateway, SOLD and Siebel) would be valuable.
