Education

Job Description

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience

3-5 years’ Experience with Ivanti Service Management software or comparable ITSM software.
Exposure with Windows Server
1-2 years’ Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in a Help Desk / Service Desk environment
2-3 years of systems analysis and configuration experience with ITSM software in business and IT
1-2 years of programming experience preferably in a .NET environment
Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and basic programming standards.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills
Team player with collaborative mindset
Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment
Excellent at problem solving and relationship building

Responsibilities

Works closely with business, and team members to understand requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions within the framework of the existing service management system (Ivanti Service Management). These solutions must be aligned with business, IT strategies, comply with the organization’s architectural standards and change management standards.
Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Determine if the changes needed are within the existing system framework (i.e. standard) or require additional development outside of the framework (i.e. custom).
Responsible for configuration changes to system. This can include changes to core master data, system monitors, alerts and performance. Identification of server and database configurations related to performance.
