About the Position

Masters degree with prior experience (1-2 years) in and related to the development sector will be preferred for the position.

You will be reporting to the CEO & MD.

Salary will be subject to experience and qualifications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and development of research tools and frameworks for needs assessments, impact assessment, program evaluation, baseline surveys.
• Conduct impact assessment studies including studying NGO programs conduct primary research by developing assessment questionnaires, administer them in the community, analyse data, and interpret results.
• Conduct secondary research and analyse and summarise the findings in the form of reports
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and written reports, analyse research data including operational and financial and other data
• Capacity building execution projects – gap identification and analysis, design and execution of solutions
• Develop standard operating procedures and frameworks for projects and processes, conduct risk analysis and design recommendations
• Development of materials and assignments for the training workshops on capacity building.
• Sourcing of NGOs for training workshops and research studies and conducting basic due diligence
• Identify and source NPOs that Socal Lens can partner with, undertake preliminary exploration and background check.
• Interview key stakeholders in the client, conduct on-site observations, gather and organise information
• Monitor and track project outcomes and fund utilisations
• Liaison with NGOs, funding partners, and implementing stakeholders
• Track projects and prepare case studies. Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to gauge the success of recommended changes
• Support the teams on any events/conferences / white papers and as such as required
• Work closely with the CEO including attending meetings with the CEO
• Social media content creation as and when required 

Competencies

• Master’s degree - MBA, MSW, MA in Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, others
• Excellent English communication skills – speaking and writing
• Ability to multi-task and work in tight deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and GSuite
• Data management and analysis 
• Research skills (Preferred: primary and secondary;  quantitative and qualitative)
