About Mortgage Solutions
The Global Wealth Management Mortgage Solutions team delivers customized, complex mortgage lending solutions to clients. Mortgage Specialists work with Bankers, Lending Specialists, Financial Advisors, and additional members of the integrated team to deliver sophisticated lending solutions and excellent service to clients.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Mortgage Specialists in managing application pipelines, including: submitting amendments to mortgage applications, completing pricing tools, providing post funding support, etc.
• Respond rapidly to internal inquiries on mortgages and HELOCs
• Ensure all processes and deadlines for service level agreements are met
• Respond to data quality questions and research/resolve all issues
• Coordinate with Mortgage Solutions to ensure all requirements for home owner's insurance, title contacts, ownership structure, and legal documents are completed
• Assist with processing questions and inquiries regarding power of attorney, title follow ups, home owner's insurance, etc.
• Assist with the underwriting development process by following-up on underwriting inquiries
• Coordinate the application, origination, and closing process end-to-end, including receipt of all necessary documentation from clients and/or Bankers
Essential Skills & Experience:
• 3-5 years of work experience in the financial services industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree required
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Excellent time management & organizational skills to ensure timely collection of loan documentation and assist Mortgage Specialists with overall pipeline management
• Ability to handle a high volume of communication and requests for information
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivator with an ability to facilitate change
• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint)
