Android Developer

Experience: 4 - 5 Years
Work Location: To work from our Kolkata office
Education: An Engineer or MCA would be preferred, other Graduates may be considered
Salary: As per industry standards

Technical Skills:

Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Working with Android SDK with Eclipse and Android Studio.
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Experience with third - party libraries and APIs.
Database technologies (SQLite, MySQL or similar) for handling API's.
Mobile development life cycle and mobile UI Design
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Knowledge of APIs and testing
Problem solving skills, algorithmic skills and data structures
Must have published one or more Android apps in the play store.
A go getter attitude
Other Technologies / Skills (desirable, but not mandatory):
Knowledge of JAVA technologies would be of great advantage.
Knowledge of Hybrid technologies for Mobile Apps

Principal Responsibilities :

To provide software development skills and be responsible for developing and testing an allocated area to the agreed standards and quality practices.
Carry-out unit testing of the developed software components
Carry-out performance testing optimization, if required
Product documentation to agreed standard
Efficiently handle product support issues and problem resolutions
Deliver work to agreed timescales and standards.
Must have worked on Interface development, implementation and Testing.
Knowledge of Data conversion, loading and testing
