Job Description

Android Developer

Job Location: Navi Mumbai

Exp: 5 yrs to 10 yrs

Job Requirements:

  • Strong Java skills with extensive knowledge of the Android SDK
  • Experience using scalable Restful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GIT, Subversion, Mercurial
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching production mobile apps (Google Play or alternative Android app stores)

Desired:

  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Familiarity with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Fundamental and passionate believer in creating a phenomenal mobile experience
  • Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a plus
