Job Description

Android Developer

Position Description:
 
  • Primary responsibilities include tech design, coding, testing, debugging and maintenance of evolving digital media applications
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends for mobile technologies
  • Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support live products
  • Develop and support for all front-end, online mobile product initiatives
  • Design and develop software applications
  • Work closely with other mobile application developers, software engineers and production groups to design, develop, test, implement and support new front-end applications, systems and tools
  • Participate in the development and preparation of documentation

Education & Experience Required:
 
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in CS/EE/Eng/Sci/Comp Eng.
  • 4 years of demonstrated experience building large scale, high traffic Android applications on tablets and mobile devices.
  • Extensive experience with JSON, SML, SOAP, REST
  • 4 years of experience with front end web technologies, including HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax
