Responsible for month-end close process - approve journal entries and inter-co billings (charge-back and manual allocations) – related to IMIT.
Provide monthly reporting package, including variance analyses. Drive financial reviews with the Senior Vice Presidents Leadership Team
Influence business decisions. Provide decision making support in expense control, cost reduction initiatives
Review and approve purchase requisitions.
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles for the organization – working across continents and domains to present a consolidated view.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes including data gathering, reporting and budgeting.
Special projects and reporting as needed
Prior manufacturing industry experience in a multinational company is preferred
Semiconductor industry knowledge is a plus.
Initial years spent in CPA firms or Chartered Accountants would be advantageous.
Possess intermediate to advance level of accounting skills
Experience in transitioning job activities to India.
Familiar with close process in an ERP environment – preferably Oracle R12, supervising team members, and ensuring accurate accounting entries are posted
Familiar with preparation/review of monthly financial statements and monthly/quarterly corporate reporting
Familiar with financial KPIs required for capital project evaluation
Work level understanding of effective internal controls and SOX or ADAA compliance experience is advantageous
Show good communication skills, speak fluently and is easily understood in an international environment
Demonstrated ability to work across borders, cutting through different work cultures

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education  Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or Equivalent Professional Qualifications(e.g. CA)
Experience  3-5 years of work experience with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in a multi-national manufacturing company or shared service center supporting manufacturing companies.
Oracle R12 ERP work knowledge is a plus
