No. of Vacancies : 1900 ANMs/MPH A(F) posts. The number of vacancies is provisional (District-wise vacancies: Srikakulam-52; Vizianagaram-29; Visakhapatnam-150; East Godavari -227: Wesl Godavari -193; Krishna -168 Guntur-242; Prakasam-99; Nellore-176; Chitoor-182 Kadapa -97; Anantapur -140 ; Kurnool -145)

Qualification : A) Must have passed SSC or equivalent Examination; B) Must have passed EITHER 18/24 months MPHA(F) course conducted in the State (recognized by AP Nursing & Midwives Council) OR Two Years intermediate Vocational Multi Purpose Health Worker (Female) Course and have completed one year Clinical Training in selected Government Hospital.

Salary : In the scale of Rs. 21230 - 63010 (PRC 2015).

Age Limit :Maximum age limit is 42 years as on 01.02.2019; and age relaxation as per rules. In the case of MPHA (F) already working on contract basis the weightage will be allowed.

Application Fee : Each application must be accompanied by D.D. worth Rs.300/- (Rupees three hundred only) payable at Vijayawada drawn in favor of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, AP, Gollapudi, Vijayawada. The SC, ST, BC and Ex-service men are exempted from Payment of fee.

The role and responsibility of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare is implementation of Maternal and Child Health Care and Family Welfare services in the State viz. Family Planning, Antenatal Care, Postnatal Care including Immunization services. The focus is mainly on promotive and preventive care. Family Welfare Programme is a Centrally Sponsored Programme with 100% financial assistance from Govt. of India from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Certain schemes are also assisted by State Government. External aided agencies are also assisting for the activities under National Rural Health Mission.
