Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Application Architect, you'll make technical directions for the development team per given business requirements and scenarios. You'll be responsible for providing technical solutions to evolve or strangle legacy applications, designing the architecture for new applications per both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring the designed solutions are workable by coding or piloting in key modules, and being agile and innovative to solve business problems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Total 12+ Years experience and 8+ years in application architect
Willing to learn and try new technologies, aiming to design elegant system architecture.
Master in popular web development frameworks and tools.
Master in cloud-native application development, rich experience in on-premise application migration to the cloud.
Master in micro-services architecture and rich experience in building micro-services applications.
Master in DevOps, rich experience in building CI/CD pipeline and monitoring systems.
Rich experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD),design patterns, refactoring, and testing.
Solid knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, DB2, Oracle, Mango DB, etc (at least one).
