Your Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

Responsible to work with a team to develop web platforms, solutions, applications, and interfaces
Create and maintain websites including e-commerce platforms and custom applications
Provide support for the optimization effort of applications, with emphasis on improvements to application performance and page loading times.
Test solutions to acceptable standards prior to handing over to System Testing
Contribute to the implementation of effective website maintenance, monitoring and development strategies
Develop new code and improve existing code to provide stable, high performance solutions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 6+ years development experience in IBM WebSphere Commerce, version 7.0/8.0
Solid understanding of WCS architecture, Catalog, order flows etc
Working knowledge of Aurora store framework, responsive web design
Hands-on experience with WCS Widgets development/customization
Experience in Accelerator, management center or Sales Center customization will be a plus.
IBM eCommerce developer certifications are preferred.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience of implementing projects with Global Delivery resources and working with third parties
Experience and knowledge of other Smarter Commerce software products such as Sterling Commerce, UNICA, Coremetrics
Experience of Enterprise architecture and delivering long-term roadmaps
Experience of service improvement initiatives and how to scope and drive these projects
Ability and experience to act as technical lead on bids and new initiatives
