Job description :
The Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting and correction of the problem on applications and systems used in Tesco's customer fulfilment centers. He will be responsible to conduct RCA on the problems and arrive with a resolution. He should work with Service Lead & should also help in OS and application patching on the servers owned by Customer fulfillment team. The core processes that he has to work on are Incident Management, Major incident management, Problem management, knowledge management and Application Patching.
Tech Needs

• The person should have strong hold on .net, IIS and windows services.
• Hands-on at writing SQL queries and good experience in support is a must.
  

Below points are important,

• Provide operational and application support to Tesco Dotcom GSH Systems - Both office hours and On-call
• Write queries and generate DB reports needed for operations (SQL)
• Document all the processes and update knowledge base. This should contribute in making the process people independent
• Incident, Problem, Patching and Knowledge management
• Performing health checks, monitor systems, work on alerts and reports.
• Generate reports and also prepare RCA document of issues
• Provide accurate problem descriptions, with all necessary support documentation
• Timely escalation of issues is of essence to prevent or contain operational impact
