Accountabilities

Job Description

Contribute to the development and implementation of the security metrics program by serving as the co-lead data developer working alongside U.S. cohort
Be responsible for maintaining internal stakeholder and data provider relationships, including working with teams throughout PepsiCo IT and Information Security to obtain and model relevant data
Be responsible for ensuring complete, accurate, and timely development of database solutions in support of report developers
Be responsible for documenting database designs and requirements for new reporting, including recommending and implementing business intelligence capabilities, centralized data collection and archival, and data development in support of automated dashboards and reports
Be responsible for defining data models, and building out efficient data ingestion processes for reporting
Be responsible for identifying and validating data sources input from stakeholders and incorporating feedback in the development of risk-based metrics
Contribute to the identification and effective communication of information security risks identified by data mining a single source or aggregating multiple data sources
Be responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring best practices and processes for the data platform of the security metrics program
Enable design and deployment of the mechanisms and tools for data harvesting and determine key risk indicators

Years Of Experience

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline
9+ years of experience in SQL Server, or similar relational database methodologies
9+ years of experience writing ETL or similar data ingestion methods
Strong experience in the collection and aggregation of various data sources for reporting and archiving of statistical data
5+ years of experience in Alteryx

Mandatory Technical Skills

Strong experience in the implementation of data solutions to support reporting and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau
Strong experience and proven leadership in developing data in support of reporting to communicate analytic results
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Working knowledge of information security industry frameworks (e.g. ISO, NIST, COBIT)
Experience with modeling data to identify, analyze, and report on value-added key risk indicators and key performance indicators related to information security, cybersecurity or broader IT

Candidate must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Candidate must have strong analytical skills to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
Candidate must be able to understand information security risks and determine ways to identify data needed for measuring and accurately reflecting the current degree of risk
Candidate must be able to identify measures or indicators of data quality and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
