As an Area Sales Manager - Tamil Nadu | Kerala you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and business development operations of organization in the designated geographical area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You are responsible for profitable sales and earnings in that specific sales Area. You are responsible for the operative implementation of the Company strategy in the designated specific Area and act as an interface between the Regional Sales Manager and on field Sales Manager.
According to our management principles you shall be liable to strengthen our leadership culture and also facilitates healthy growth of our company in TN & Kerala. This would lead to successful corporate growth of our Company and laying the foundation for the continued successful economic international development of the Group as a high positional employer.
Your main task is to lead and manage the sales task force in that specific area. Additionally, you support actively the sales representatives on the spot. Setting sales targets for individual Sales Manager and your team as a whole. Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach mutually agreed targets.
Develop Business Plans:
You would also be required to take care independently of specifically defined customers.
Develop an overall business plan, including sales strategies and profit goals. This includes performing Territory and sales Analysis, assessing the results and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
Implementation of framework contracts (key accounts/major customers),participation in closing of contracts.
As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible to reach the target and goal set for the area, this is done both directly and through team members. This includes securing both individual sales and contracts, depending on the company and product.
Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base and Servicing the needs of your existing customers.
Involvement in strategic sales issues, elaboration of sales planning and –controlling measures. Compiling and Analysing sales figures and Reporting to senior managers Keeping up to date with products and competitors trough Market intelligence.
Requirements and personnel Qualifications:
Engineering graduatehaving area-specific sales experience of 10 to 12 years.
Should have Industrial Tools back ground dealing with any kind of Industrial Customers.
Should be exposed to both Direct and Indirect Sales Model with a successful track record.
Excellent presentation skills, strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs used for day to day professional communication.
Proficiency in common sales and data management software.
Language skills: Fluent business communication (English) and local language (Tamil / Kannada/ Malayam/ Telugu).
Should have some decent People Management Skills and should have managed a small level of Team.
Willing to travel in TN/ Kerala and also support Team Members.
