Job Description

Designation: Area Sales Manager.

Role In brief: Enhance sales for assigned area

Working hours are from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Fixed off will be on Sunday. Apart from a week off, there will be public holidays. We allow flexi timing.

Salary is 5 to 8 LPA based on the years of experience. Plus, incentives.

Reporting to MD.

Experience: Ideally 4 to 8 years.

Job responsibility:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company's sales targets in the assigned area or territory.
  • Analyze the market and identify potential customers, opportunities, and challenges in the assigned area,
  • Keep abreast of all the products and competitors & make product presentations.
  • Make projects visits to Developers / Builders, MEP contractors and Plumbing contractors.
  • Establish, maintain, and expand customer base.
  • Maintain and increase sales of company’s products (Valves)
  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and motivating sales representatives.
  • Conduct sales training sessions, workshops, and coach programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to forecast sales targets and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales strategies and ensure effective communication and support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all sales activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education: No bar on education. Due weightage to B.sc / BE and MBA (if from reputed institute)

Experience: Min. 4 years exp of working with builders; MEP consultants; plumbing contractors. Weightage if he has exposure to Sanitary/ plumbing distributors. Male candidates are preferred. The candidate must be fluent in local language and English.

Must have ready to use contacts with builders, plumbing contractors & consultants,

Ideally must have his/her own vehicle for field visits and company will provide the petrol allowance. Due weightage is given for exposure of new product launch or setting up new sales territories.
