Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Recruiting Office (Headquarters),Chennai from 07 Jun 2019 to 17 Jun 2019 at BHARATHI STADIUM, NEYVELI (TN) to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from seven districts of Tamilnadu viz Cuddalore, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Villupuram, Kancheepuram and Puducherry dist of Puducherry (UT) in Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner),Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk and Store Keeper Technical, Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesman categories.

Soldier Technical

Qualification : 10+2/Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Soldier Nursing Assistant

Qualification : 10+2/Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and Minimum 40% marks in each subject.

Soldier General Duty

Qualification : Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading sys Min of D Grade (33-40) in indl subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

Soldier Tradesman

Qualification : (i) Class 8th simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject. 10th Class Pass. (i) Class 10th simple pass (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical

Qualification : 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory

Age Group : Age of the candidate will be counted as on 01 Oct 2019. Age criteria for recruitment rally will be as under:-

(a) Soldier Technical/ Soldier Technical (Aviation /Ammunition Examiner) : - 17 years 06 months to 23 years.

(b) Soldier Clerk/ Soldier Store Keeper Technical : - 17 years 06 months to 23 years.

(d) Soldier General Duty : - 17 years 06 months to 21 years.

(e) Soldier Tradesman : - 17 years 06 months to 23 years.

Medical Exam of Candidates : Primary medical examination will be carried out with effect from 08 Jun 2019 onward at Rally Site.
