Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Trichy from 03 January 2020 to 13 January 2020 at District Sports Stadium, Nagapattinam (Tamil Nadu) to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from fourteen districts of Tamil Nadu i.e. Perambalur, Ariyalur, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and one District of U.T Puducherry i.e Karaikal in Soldier Technical, Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesman categories.

Soldier General Duty (All Arms)

Qualification : Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading sys minimum of D Grade (33-40) in indl subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

Age Limit : 17 ½ - 21 Yrs

Chest (Cms) : 77 cms with 5 cms expansion

Soldier Technical

Qualification : 10+2/ Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Age Limit : 17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Minimum Physical QR :

Height (Cms) : 165

Weight (Kgs) : 50

Chest (Cms) : 77 cms with 5 cms expansion

Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) Class 10th Pass

Qualification : (i) Class 10th simple pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Age Limit : 17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Chest (Cms) : 76 cms with 5 cms expansion

Soldier Tradesman (All arms) Class 8th Pass

Qualification : (i) Class 8th simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper). (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
