Arriving at a common solution with other internal stakeholders

Pitching ideas to clients

Commissioning photographers, artists or film-makers to work on projects

Visiting and assessing locations for potential shoots in case of live-action video requirements

You will meet with clients and internal departments to discuss and establish project objectives, research current trends and the target demographic, and design and troubleshoot the visual aspects of an ad campaign, from the initial planning stages until the finished campaign is presented to the client or company.

Working in editing suites to oversee the finished product

an integrated and creative approach to the media and how the media can be used in content creation

IT skills in the relevant art and design packages, such as Photoshop and Illustrator

an understanding of the content creation process

acute observation and an eye for detail.

Meets art department cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.

1-3 years of full-time experience as an Art Director/Illustrator in one or more of the following industries/domains:

• advertising and marketing
  

• fine art
  

• graphic design
  

• illustration
  

Professional level command on design suites/platforms

A bachelor or higher degree in Graphic design and/or allied fields will be an added advantage
