Key Qualifications

Requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering with 3+ years of related experience .

Requirements

• In-depth familiarity with the layout of analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuits
• Exposure to Analog/Mixed-signal circuit layouts (ie. RX, TX, PLL, etc…)
• Knowledge of signal integrity issues (ie. clock/data routes, differential routing, shielding)
• Aware of layout techniques to mitigate ESD, latch-up
• Familiarity with the custom digital layout (ie. high-speed logic paths)
• Knowledge of design for reliability (ie. EM, IR, etc…)
• Knowledge of layout effects (ie. matching, reliability, proximity effects, spacing effects etc…)
• Knowledge of advanced FinFET nodes (7nM and below)
• Tools: Custom Compiler, ICV, Calibre, Star-RCXT, etc.,
• Exposure to scripting (ie. TCL, PERL, etc…)

Experience
You will be part of a fast-growing Analog/Mixed-Signal layout team developing the physical layout of high-speed analog integrated circuits. As a mixed-signal layout engineer, you will be exposed to layout for SERDES and DDR Protocols. As an IP layout designer, circuits will be constructed to facilitate porting to multiple process nodes. Our environment is best in class with a full suite of IC design tools supplemented by custom, in-house tools supported by an experienced software/CAD team.
Requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 3+ years of related experience. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Performs in a project leadership role. Contributes to the complex aspects of a project. Receives little to no instructions on day-to-day work, occasionally receives general instructions on new assignments and projects. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Work is independent and collaborative in nature. Provides regular updates to manager on project status. Represents the organization on business unit and/or company-wide projects. Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job. Frequently networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with the team and interface between other cross-functional teams.
