1. Post: Assistant Analyst

Duration of the Contractual position: 3 Years

Educational Qualification Experience (Copy of be experience must attached): B.E / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).

Desirable:

i. Basic understanding of Computers, Networking, Digital Forensics, Cellular Forensics, Cellular Phone Communication, Data Analysis, Encryption, PKI, Internet Governance, Information Security, etc.

ii. Ability to produce forensically sound images of digital media, i.e. SATA, IDE, flash drives using hardware/ software imaging tools

iii. Experience of wiping, verifying, and validating any media before and after conducting an examination.

iv. Knowledge of different Operating Systems like Windows, Linux , Mac OS, IOS, Android, Windows Mobile and its file systems

v. Have knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTPS, and SMTP; Web filtering, Spam Filtering & Malware Analysis.

vi. Knowledge of Data Recovery /Analysis/Carving with any of the standard Cyber Forensics tools such as Encase, FTK, Helix, Deft, Winhex, Win UFO etc.

vii. Experience of methodically recover extract, analyze and present factual digital data information from mobile devices, tablet computers for use in investigations of Criminal Cases.

viii. Experience in conducting cell phone examination and extracting relevant data using cell phone analysis tools such as C-DAC Mobile Check, UFEDCelebrite ,XRY, OXYGEN Forensics, MobilEdit,MPE+, Paraben or any other open source tools.

ix. Working knowledge of E-Mail Investigation, Steganography, and File/Folder/Partition/Drive Encryption.

x. Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Profile: To train the participants of various training courses organized by NDCRTC in the fields of Digital Forensics, Mobile Forensics, Cryptocurrencies and Cyber crime investigation. To assist in all trainings of NDCRTC in Digital Labs during various Hands-On Sessions. They need to update themselves about various Hardware and software Digital Forensic Tools available in the lab. They need to practice on all these tools so that they can assist trainees and Faculties during their Hands-On Sessions effectively. To help the team in day-to-day administration and organizing the training programs.

Monthly Consolidated Pay Range: Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 35,400/-

Skill Set: Experience in design, development and maintainance of websites. Coding programmes for software packages in Joomla and Java technologies. Writing script and maintaining PHP/SQL/ Oracle /SQL database systems along with experience of Network and Server Management. Expertise in computer/network maintenance and related works.

Desirable Skill Set: Knowledge of Moodle platform, other Learning Management System (LMS) and SCROM packages. Experience of organizing and delivering online training modules and creation and deployment of e-content. Knowledge of Digital Forensics and management of Computer and Digital Forensics Lab

Job Profile:

i. To train the participants of various training courses organized by NDCRTC in the fields of Digital Forensics, Mobile Forensics, Cryptocurrencies and Cyber crime investigation.

ii. To assist all trainees of NDCRTC in Digital Labs during various Hands-On Sessions of the participants. They need to update themselves about various Hardware and Digital Forensic Tools available in the lab. To organize Forensic Tools available in lab.

iii. To organize all the online training activities of NDCRTC on LMS. To Enrol user, Manage content and to Administer online courses.

iv. To develop and maintain the website & LMS of NDCRTC.

Monthly Consolidated Pay Range: Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 35,400/-

Age Limit: Below 35 years as on last date of Application Submission

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA),trains officers of the Indian Police Service, who have been selected through an All India based Civil Services Examination. The trained officers will be posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in their respective states under whom the other sub-ranks of police force will be working.
