Eligibility :  Officers under the Central Government or a State Government or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Semi Government Organisations or Statutory Organisations or Autonomous Organisations: (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR (ii) with two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in Level-8 in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised: Pay Band-2, Rs.9300-34800/- and Grade Pay of Rs.4800/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; AND (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

Qualification :  Master's Degree in Economics/Commerce/Mathematic/ Statistics/Operations Research from a recognized University;

Experience :  Five years experience in compilation, presentation and analysis of Statistical data in a Government Office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organisation or Universities or Statutory Body;

Desirable :   Diploma in Disaster Management and experience in handling relief operations.

Pay Scale :  Level-10 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100-1,77,500/-) (pre-revised: Pay Band- 3, Rs.15,600-39,100/- and Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-)

Mode of Recruitment :  By Deputation (including short-term Contract) / Absorption, failing which by direct recruitment.
