Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites application for the position Assistant Director 

Name of the service: Tamil Nadu Fisheries Service (Service Code No. 030)

No. of vacancies: 02

Scale of pay: Rs.56100 - 177500 (Level 22) (Revised Scale)

Educational Qualification:
(i) M.F.Sc., Degree (or)
(ii) A Doctorate in Zoology or Marine Biology (or)
(iii) M.Sc.,(Bio-Technology) with a basic B.F.Sc.,Degree
b. A first class degree in M.A/M.Sc., in Zoology or Marine Biology with a minimum of three years of Research experience as evidenced by published scientific papers.
c. Provided that preference shall be given to the candidates possessing M.F.Sc., Degree or M.Sc., Bio Technology with basic B.F.Sc., degree and only if sufficient number of candidates possessing M.F.Sc., degree or M.Sc (Bio-Technology) with a basic B.F.Sc., Degree are not available the candidates possessing other qualifications shall be considered.

Age Limit: SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories: No Maximum Age limit, Others: 33years
