Sub.: Filling up of vacant posts of Assistant at ICAR- NBPGR- reg.

1. Name of the Post: Assistant

2. No. of Post: Fifteen (15)

3. Pay Level as per 7th CPC:

Level-6

4. Eligibility: Upper Division Clerks in the level 04 of 7th CPC (pre-revised PB 5200- 20200+ GI) 2400/-) having atleast 10 years of regular service in the grade

5. It is requested that the above vacancies may be circulated among the eligible and desirous candidates working at your Institute/ Establishment. Applications of only such candidates who can be relived immediately in the event of their selection may please be forwarded in the enclosed proforma alongwith attested copies of 5 years CR dossiers for UDCs

In an unprecedented initiative, NBPGR, for the first time, has characterized and evaluated (preliminary) entire germplasm of wheat (22000 accessions comprising T. aestivum, T. durum and T. dicoccum) conserved in the National Genebank, at three locations in during Rabi 2011-12. At CCS HAU, Hisar, the wheat accessions have been characterized under optimum conditions. Data on 32 agro-morphological characters are used to develop a core-set.
