Understand the core message, its target audience, and the opportunities and constraints of the platform (social media, informational or promotional emails, in-product messages, etc.) the message will be communicated through.
Conduct product and market research to understand product features, audience’s pain points, and the language they use to describe their needs and problems.
Brainstorm pitch, visual and copy ideas with the other members of the product and creative team.
Present initial ideas covering a variety of communication themes.
Create crisp, effective copy that resonates with the brand voice and the visual language of the communication piece, while adhering to the text specifications of different media.
Revise copy based on internal feedback and copy performance.
Ensure factual and grammatical accuracy in all copywriting.
Analyze copy performance, draw meaningful insights and incorporate learnings.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and adapt them to come up with fresh copy ideas.
Work proactively and closely with other teams to ensure consistency in communication
Qualification & Skills:
At least 3+ years of experience as a copywriter for B2B / B2C in an advertising or digital agency environment, including experience in social media and product copywriting.
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write in a range of voices and styles
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mass communication, English literature or design/creative studies.
Strong conceptual skills and expertise in typography and use of photography.
