JOB PROFILE

Designation: Asst. Manager-Engineering/Deputy Manager-Engineering

Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)

Experience: 6 to10 years with pharmaceutical/ cosmetic formulations industry. Heading the department for minimum 2years.Having hands on experience with formulation industry on Liquids, Shampoo/Lotion/Creams/Gel and Powders manufacturing, filling and packing machines. Also should be well versed with utilities equipment like HVAC System, Purified water plant, Power Generator, Chillers, Boiler, Air compressor and Electrical systems. Should possess good communication and computer skills.

Preference: Worked with companies certified with Cosmetic GMP-ISO22716, ISO9001:2015, EMS14001/OHSAS18001:2015. Experience in projects is additional advantage.

Salary can be offered: 6.00 – 8.00 Lakhs/Annum

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Ensures health condition of facility i.e., building, equipment and machinery.

·         Have to prepare and implement SOPs related to engineering.

·         Have to train technicians and operators for smooth handling of process and utility equipment.

·         Preparation and implementation of preventive maintenance schedule for process, qc, utilities equipment and machinery to minimize the breakdown period.

·         Ensures timely recovery of breakdown equipment and machinery to minimize the operational time losses and to maintain the productivity norms.

·         Ensures periodic calibration of qc equipment, process equipment (gauges etc.),follow up with third party agencies where ever applicable.

·         Plays a vital role for productivity improvement and equipment efficiency.

·         Prepares periodical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

·         Ensures timely services by AMC agencies for utility, equipment and machinery.

·         Timely indent of spares and stock keeping.

·         Identification of new machinery requirement and procurement to improve the productivity.

·         Modification of existing equipment and machinery to improve the online productivity and quality.

·         Should be a team member for equipment and machinery qualifications i.e., DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ.

·         Should be a member of process validation team and investigation team member for OOS incidents.

·         Ensures online documentation related to engineering, in compliance with cGMP guidelines and various ISOs.

·         Ensures the successful handling of various audits like ISOs and regulatory audits.

·         Coordinates with other department heads in factory for all related activities and with purchase department at HO for engineering procurements.

·         Reports to GM-Plant operations on daily basis.
