Job Title Assistant ManagerLocation : PuneIAR : The role is not applicable to the UK ‘Senior Managers Regime’ or ‘Certified Regime’

o Investigate T0 exceptions on Sales Client trades for Liquid Market desk and coordinate with various stakeholders to get them resolved on timely manner under tight T+2 settlement cycles

o Deliver client request on timely manner and manage their expectations, providing a single point of contact for all clients

o Respond to post execution trade queries from clients, including but not limited to Standard Settlement Instruction set up, allocation, brokerage charge and commission, tax etc.

o Deliver quality service to client and enhance their experience with Barclay/Working with different teams within Barclays to onboard client requirement.

o Handle the new client account set-up process by T + 0

o Setting up Workflow Tool for Barclays Issued Notes and ensuring Trades are Pricing to External system by co-ordinating with the Desk.

o Publishing of Products on BBG and reviewing Final Terms

o Support fails management and resolution for Barclays Issued Notes

What will you be doing?

• Degree level or appropriate industry qualifications with at least relevant years within a similar / comparable banking environment

• Extensive experience and thorough understanding of markets and up to date technical knowledge.

• Significant Financial services experience with an understanding of a complex Operations environment and knowledge of the front to back process in an environment of investment banking
• Some Structured Product knowledge.
• Understand operational risks to reduce risk profile
• Able to communicate in other languages
• Proven ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels including interacting effectively with other key areas within the bank e.g. IT, MO, FO, Ops Control.
• Ability to influence others for providing the supports and work under pressure independently
• Detailed and meticulous, high level of accuracy with low tolerance for error
• An achiever and ambitious, with a strong desire to succeed Innovative, hard working, enthusiastic and motivated

• Additional focus on maintaining and implementing tight controls.
  

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an excellent command of English

• Good knowledge of trade lifecycles
• Previous experience with settlements or middle office environments
• An organized individual with good time management, prioritising tasks and able to meet tight deadlines without loosing attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with various teams to action items
