Management of Environment, Health & Safety aspects of products, throughout the entire life cycle, closely working with upstream and downstream users of the product. Responsibilities Support and monitor local PS Customer Support function of Business Unit Pigments; assess customer requests and define a harmonized way to them, evaluates customer's Product Stewardship needs to ensure pro-active service Support and monitor PS customer communication processes and takes care of their legal compliance Active support in BU Customer related projects & external associations taking care of BU products Creation of documents related to regulatory compliance of products and raw materials. Ensures traceable archiving of customer requests and PS confirmations and statements Evaluation and maintenance of product safety-relevant data in systems (Evaluation, maintaining and archiving of the product safety-relevant data) Monitoring regulatory changes globally and incorporating the changes in systems (Analyzing of regulatory changes); Manages the impact of changes in regulations with respect to customer confirmations and statements To maintain regulatory data in EHS with respect to transport Safety. Support the sites for right product labelling and packaging; develop a close working with Supply Chain Management by imparting training on Transport Safety Monitors legal compliance of processes where dangerous goods transport is involved Requirements M.Sc. in chemistry or related fields from a reputed university with minimum experience of 5 years. Experience in international chemical legislation, like GHS Experience in dangerous goods declaration, is advantageous Excellent knowledge of English, written and oral Ability to work in teams and willingness to travel Strong analytical and communication skills Structured, independent and results-oriented work Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint ERP System (SAP) experience in particular modules EH&S and WINS is a plus Knowledge on safety tests for chemical products is advantageous, but not a must Knowledge of IATA/ IMDG regulations can be an added advantage
